Sawtooth Hotel in Stanley, Idaho is hiring a Server to provide friendly, efficient service in our restaurant/bar. You’ll be the face of the guest experience—welcoming diners, guiding them through the menu, and ensuring every table is cared for from greeting to farewell. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and takes pride in getting the details right.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet guests promptly, explain specials, and answer menu and beverage questions
- Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS
- Deliver food and beverages, check back appropriately, and resolve concerns professionally
- Maintain table cleanliness, reset promptly, and support overall dining room flow
- Handle guest checks, process payments, and follow cash-handling procedures
- Follow all food safety and responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure timely, accurate orders
- Assist with opening/closing side work and restocking as needed
What we’re looking for:
- Prior serving experience preferred (training provided for strong candidates)
- Reliable attendance, teamwork mindset, and comfort being on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to stay organized and calm during busy shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
