Welcome to VagaJobs. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the VagaJobs website, platform, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using VagaJobs, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. Overview of Services

VagaJobs is an online marketplace that connects job seekers with employers offering seasonal and temporary work opportunities.

VagaJobs acts solely as a platform and does not:

  • Employ job seekers
  • Guarantee job placement
  • Guarantee employer legitimacy
  • Verify all user-submitted content

All interactions between users occur at their own risk.


2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.

By using VagaJobs, you represent that:

  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
  • All information you provide is accurate and truthful

3. Accounts

3.1 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • All activity under your account

You agree not to share login credentials.


3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at any time, with or without notice, for:

  • Violations of these Terms
  • Fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behavior
  • Actions that negatively impact the platform or its users

4. Employer Terms

4.1 Job Listings

Employers agree that all job postings:

  • Are accurate and not misleading
  • Clearly describe compensation, housing, and benefits
  • Comply with all applicable laws

4.2 Hiring Responsibility

Employers are solely responsible for:

  • Hiring decisions
  • Compliance with labor and employment laws
  • Verifying work authorization

4.3 Multi-Location Accounts

Employer accounts may include multiple locations managed under a single company dashboard.

Employers are responsible for all activity across their account and associated locations.


5. Job Seeker Terms

Job seekers are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of their profiles and applications
  • Their communications with employers
  • Independently verifying job opportunities

VagaJobs is not responsible for employer conduct, job conditions, or employment outcomes.


6. Payments, Subscriptions, and Billing

6.1 Paid Services

Certain features require payment, including:

  • Employer subscriptions
  • Featured listings
  • Email campaigns
  • Add-ons and promotional services

6.2 Auto-Renewal

All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before renewal.

By purchasing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.


6.3 Pricing Changes

We may update pricing at any time.

Renewals will occur at the current listed price at the time of renewal.


6.4 No Refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable, including:

  • Subscription fees
  • Partial billing periods
  • Unused services or features
  • Credits or add-ons

6.5 Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we may:

  • Suspend or restrict access
  • Downgrade or terminate your account

7. Credits System and Add-On Services

7.1 Overview

VagaJobs may offer certain features through a credits-based system (“Credits”), including:

  • Email campaigns
  • Featured placements
  • Promotional boosts
  • Other add-on services

Credits may be included in plans or purchased separately.


7.2 Use of Credits

Credits:

  • May only be used within the platform
  • Have no cash value
  • Are not redeemable for currency

Credit requirements per feature may change at any time.


7.3 Expiration

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Purchased Credits do not expire
  • Included or promotional Credits may expire

We reserve the right to modify expiration terms.


7.4 Non-Transferability

Credits are:

  • Non-transferable
  • Non-refundable
  • Non-exchangeable

7.5 Forfeiture

If you cancel or downgrade:

  • Unused Credits may be forfeited
  • Access to certain features may be removed

7.6 Modifications

  • Change Credit pricing or value
  • Modify eligible features
  • Introduce or remove Credit-based services

7.7 No Guarantee of Results

Use of Credits does not guarantee:

  • Job applicants
  • Hiring success
  • Performance outcomes

8. Communications

By using VagaJobs, you agree to receive:

  • Transactional emails
  • Platform updates
  • Marketing communications

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time.


9. User Content

9.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of content you submit.


9.2 License

You grant VagaJobs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content.


9.3 Prohibited Content

Users may not post:

  • False or misleading information
  • Illegal or discriminatory content
  • Spam or fraudulent listings

10. Platform Disclaimer

VagaJobs provides a marketplace only.

We do not guarantee:

  • Job placement
  • Candidate quality
  • Employer legitimacy

All use is at your own risk.


11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

VagaJobs shall not be liable for:

  • Employment outcomes
  • User disputes
  • Loss of profits, data, or business
  • Indirect or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid to VagaJobs in the past 12 months.


12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VagaJobs from any claims arising from:

  • Your use of the Services
  • Your content or postings
  • Violations of these Terms

13. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, and technology are owned by VagaJobs.

You may not copy, reproduce, or reverse engineer any part of the platform.


14. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party providers such as:

  • Stripe
  • Mailchimp

We are not responsible for their services or policies.


15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time.

Upon termination:

  • Access may be revoked
  • Data may be deleted or retained

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, United States.


17. Dispute Resolution

All disputes shall be resolved through:
