Tucked into the tiny mountain town of Stanley, Idaho, the Sawtooth Hotel is a place where time slows down and the landscape does the talking. Family-owned and operating since 1931, this historic lodge sits at the base of the Sawtooth Mountains, surrounded by some of the most rugged and untouched wilderness in the lower 48.
The hotel blends rustic charm with genuine, no-frills hospitality. With a small number of guest rooms and a restaurant that draws both travelers and locals, it’s less of a “property” and more of a gathering place. Evenings are filled with shared tables, good food, and stories from the trail, the river, and the road.
What makes the Sawtooth Hotel special isn’t just the setting—it’s the feeling. There’s no pretense here. Just mountain air, wide-open space, and a rhythm of life built around sunrise hikes, long summer days, and quiet nights under some of the darkest skies in the country.

The biggest perk of working at The Sawtooth Hotel is living in Stanley, Idaho! If you join the team, you'll be working amongst people who know how to live and work hard. You will be paid well, and given two days off a week. Shift meal is included.
Housing & Living
There is a very limited number of employee housing units available. Preference given to returning employees and full-time/full-season.
