Summary of Job Purpose
The Food and Beverage department is team-oriented focused on providing our guests with excellent customer service and a pleasurable dining experience. The Food and Beverage Manager oversees the daily operations of all Food and Beverage Venues.Works closely with the General Manager to ensure that departmental goals are obtained and maintained through proper menu planning, inventory control, financial oversite, safety compliance, staff scheduling, and being a leader in delivering excellent customer service. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement. This role will also help collaborate on the development of possible year-round activities, including but not limited to weddings, group events and resort-wide events.This is a KEY member of the Dodge Ridge Team.

- Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
- Responsible for hiring, training, motivating, evaluating, and directing staff to ensure adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established departmental goals.
- Operates the department in line with departmental standards, guidelines, objectives, and operation plans
- Maintains other administrative processes such as budgeting and staffing to ensure proper planning, efficient operation of department, and successful achievement of resort goals.
- Work within a planned menu but have the ability to fluctuate with resort needs.
- Purchasing goods and continuously collaborating with General Manager and other department leaders.
- Conduct seasonal, weekly, monthly inventories of all food and beverages and consumable products at each storage location.
- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service.
- Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to their concerns.
- Continuously collaborating with the Marketing department on events.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a high level of organization and cleanliness in all aspects of the department, adhering to and accountable for the proper care, storage and safety procedures regarding the use of all kitchen and food service equipment.
- Ensuring workplace safety is a top priority.
- Adhere to and be a role model of the company’s mission, vision, and values.
- Obtain and maintain a valid Serv-Safe Manager certification.
Necessary Skills and Abilities to Perform the Job
· Food and beverage management experience.
· Working knowledge of various computer software programs.
· Ability to recognize potential issues and resolve problems efficiently

· Must possess a valid driver's license and meet the Motor Vehicle Record qualifications as outlined in the Fleet Safety Program.
