Are you between 18 and 23 years old? A recent high school graduate looking for real-world experience? A college student seeking purpose, adventure, and personal growth?


This fall, step beyond the ordinary and into the extraordinary with the Elevate Gap Program at YMCA of the Rockies' Estes Park Center.


Live, work, and grow in the breathtaking Colorado Rockies while gaining valuable professional experience, building lifelong friendships, and discovering more about who you are and where you're headed.

What You'll Do

Compensation & Perks


Earn While You Grow


$15.16/hour


Minimum 32 hours per week


Weekly bonus opportunities available


Rocky Mountain Living Package (RMLP)


Participants live on-site in YMCA staff housing and enjoy:


 Shared dormitory accommodations


Three buffet-style meals daily


 Free Wi-Fi


 Access to staff recreation and activities


 Built-in community and friendships


Cost: $170/week (payroll deducted)


Program Fee: $500 (Non-refundable Fee. Payment terms available.)

Many positions offer access to on-site housing with utilities and Wi-Fi included, along with three meals a day in the dining commons, which removes much of the cost and stress of living in a resort mountain town. Employees receive free or discounted access to YMCA facilities such as fitness centers, climbing walls, trails, courts, and recreational programs, as well as opportunities to participate in seasonal activities like Nordic skiing, tubing, canoeing, hiking, and biking depending on location and time of year. Additional perks often include discounted lodging for friends and family, employee discounts on activities and gear, and access to corporate ski passes or reduced-rate lift tickets at nearby resorts.
