Harbor 360 Hotel , Seward, Alaska
Overview
Breakfast attendants at the Harbor 350 Hotel are expected to maintain a clean, sanitized, and orderly breakfast area. This position will heat, stock, and serve prepared breakfast items, as well as ensure items are fully stocked during breakfast time. They will also be in charge of cleaning the kitchen, and preparing anything necessary for the following day. In addition to these duties, the breakfast attendants will be expected to greet and engage with guests in a friendly manner.
Qualified candidate will exemplify the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
1. Customer service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing exceptional customer service
2. Communication - Professional and active communication with guests and coworkers
3. Active listening - Full attention to guests' needs by listening to what others are saying, understanding multiple points-of-view, asking questions when appropriate, and problem-solving.
4. Detail oriented - Ability to produce quality work in a face-paced environment.

Application Requirements:
- High school diploma or higher and at least 18 years of age.
- Available to work mid-April to late September (beginning and end dates will be determined upon hire).
- Obtain Alaska state food handlers permit.
- Confident verbiage and patient temperament. Previous customer service experience is encouraged.
- Positive attitude and willing demeanor - People wait their whole lives to travel to Alaska, and we are lucky enough to live here and make someone’s dream come true.
- Any relevant experience is always a plus, but a willingness to jump in and make it work is a must.

Sometimes we partner with local adventure companies to promote activities in the area! This will either be complimentary or heavily discounted. Housing Options
Housing options are available for employees. Housing is limited so its first come first serve! Employee housing is $15.00 a day (deducted from Biweekly Pay).

There is a huge range of activities to do in Seward, Alaska! From enjoying a nice cup of coffee in a quaint coffee shop, to deep sea fishing there is something for everyone! Outdoor activities includes hiking, kayaking, ocean excursions, dog sledding, canoeing, ziplining, snowmobiling, horseback riding, ice climbing, fishing, wildlife viewing, helicopter/plane sight seeing tours, camping, and gold panning. That's just the tip of the iceberg!
