YMCA of the Rockies is looking for an Adventure Activities Facilitator to bring energy, safety, and heart to our climbing walls, ropes courses, and mountain adventure programs just outside Rocky Mountain National Park.
This isn’t a desk job—it’s a chance to spend your days guiding guests through unforgettable experiences, building teamwork, and creating moments that matter in one of the most beautiful places in Colorado.
What You’ll Do
As an Adventure Activities Facilitator, you’ll be part of a mission-driven team delivering high-quality, safe, and engaging programming at the Boone Family Mountain Center. Your days may include:
Belaying and facilitating indoor and outdoor climbing wall sessions
Leading low ropes team-building activities and assisting with high ropes courses
Creating welcoming, confidence-building experiences for guests of all ages
Running the Adventure Activities desk—answering questions, registering guests, and sharing local knowledge
Handling cash and credit transactions for programs, rentals, and merchandise
Supporting smooth daily operations with setup, teardown, and teamwork
Every shift is different—and every guest leaves because of you feeling stronger, braver, and more connected.

What We’re Looking For
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain during training)
Strong people skills and comfort working with all ages
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Comfort working at heights and in outdoor environments
Passion for teamwork, safety, and guest experience
Previous facilitation experience is a plus—but not required
