Located in the heart of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Escalante Outfitters offers a one-stop-shopping experience for tourist, backpackers and adventures. We are a family run, multi-faceted business with a pizza restaurant, gear shop and cabin rentals. During our busy season (March-November) we keep a staff of 20-25 part time to fulltime employees. Our fulltime employees work 40 hours a week, with 2 to 3 days off in a row, giving everyone an opportunity to get out and explore.
We are looking for people who are responsible and have a passion for good food and the great outdoors. Being a family owned and operated business our employees must be willing to help-out in all aspects of daily operations.
Line cooks are responsible for building pizzas salads and sandwiches. The job is fast paced and you must work quickly, efficiently, and be extremely organized. Other duties include: prepping your line for upcoming and next shift, keeping your work area clean and organized, and deep cleaning at the end of the day. Ideal candidate must be a team player and willing to work in all aspects of the kitchen. Pay is hourly wages based on experience plus tips. This is a full time role for the remainder of our season; now-mid-November.
