The line cook is responsible for the day-to-day operation and food preparation for the restaurant and other food and beverage outlets as assigned. The line cook will be responsible for preparing items on all menus and ensuring safe and quality food items with excellent and prompt service to guests.
Ensure that all opening and closing duties are performed fully on a daily basis and that cleanliness and maintenance are maintained
Stock station with necessary items, ensure par levels are maintained, and keep stations clean and organized
Prep all meal and line items for meal period
Help to prepare employee meals as needed
Provide highest quality and consistent cooking skills in all dishes prepared according to proper timelines and recipes given
Prepare and present all meals according to standardized recipes and plating
Maintain proper food safety and sanitation standards in all preparation
Report directly to the Head Chef
