Interacted with patients, helped patients order food based on any dietary restrictions they may have. Took trays to patients and picked up trays during shift. Performed food prep, temperature check on food served in hospital cafeteria as well to patients. Made sure items on salad bar were cleaned, cut and prepared and constantly stocked as well as cooler items such as sandwiches, yogurt, jello and fruit cups for employees and patients guests. I worked as overnight security/audit at the Zoin Lodge inside Zion National Park. Some of the responsibilities for overnight security included: patrolling the main lodging building, parking areas, lodging, cabins, all employee housing areas, enforcing quiet hours, answering calls for guests and employee lock outs and noise complaints. Responded to calls for guests services for extra toilettes, linens and rollaway beds, as well as pest control and heating/ cooling issues. I also ensured all office, maintenance, kitchen and laundry doors where locked, paperwork for kitchen temps, and monthly maintenance work i.e. fire extinguisher working properly, where completed. Also answer fire and medical emergency calls and contacted the appropriate emergency and NPS agency for further assistance.
Responsibilities as night audit included: checking in late arrivals, answering calls from guests and employee as well as outside calls from the public that questions about the park. I ensured all the appropriate systems where ran at the correct time and filled for the accounting department. I matched transaction receipts from credit cards and restaurant receipts to ensure all paperwork was accounted for and filled. Was responsible for early morning check outs and got providing all guest check ins and check outs with information about weather conditions, park/trail closings, shuttle and hiking trail information.
