:::FREE ROOM & BOARD | WINTER 2021-22 SEASON::: A friendly face from the Togwotee staff picks you up in Jackson Hole after your bus trip along snowy highways (or flight over the Rocky Mountains). This place is fancy, but you're ready to get to your winter home in Moran, Wyoming. You remember seeing the Rockies on TV or while scrolling on your phone, but no way did you remember the fluffy white snow and mountain scenery look like this. Obviously, pictures cannot do this place justice and YES, this winter wonderland is REAL. A huge log cabin is in the distance-- your home base, Togwotee Mountain Lodge! You're welcomed as part of our mountain family for the winter and you remind yourself that you're grateful for the basics... WiFi because there's no cell service out here, the fact that you get 3 meals a day here, a place to stay, and the warm clothes you brought! You meet your roommate(s) and get to know them because they're your ride or die until the end of your season. Thank goodness your roomie has a mini fridge and microwave. They're heading into bestie status. Your roomie gives you the 411 on what this place is all about. Your room has it's own bathroom?! Pretty sweet. You're impressed with the kitchen staff because they will work with your food allergies!... and you thought not being able to cook in your own kitchen was going to be a thing. This place is rugged and definitely part of the Wild West. Kind of a stretch seeing yourself here and you barely believe that you said YOLO? Sure, but you LOVE it! Your days go by fast and you meet the most amazing people, per usual because that's how you do. You hang with your new friends on your weekends, get some bowling in, try dog sledding (because you didn't realize they did this outside of Alaska!), and enjoy the view of the Tetons in.... not a one horse open sleigh, but a TWO HORSE open sleigh! Who says you're a dreamer for making this frosty dream a reality?
