The Sea Bean is a funky cafe located in a vintage building in the heart of downtown Seward, Alaska. We serve local espresso and coffee drinks, brew up the best loose-leaf tea in the state, have local beer and wine, and offer a creative breakfast and lunch menu. Our employees get to meet people from all over the world, and have opportunities to explore Kenai Fjords National Park and beyond.

Hiking, kayaking, biking, whale-watching and more are right out our front door. On the job, you'll be able to meet people from all over the world. The Sea Bean is a locally-owned coffee shop that serves up hot and cold drinks, breakfast, and lunch. Our sister company, Sauerdough Lodging, is a boutique nightly rental facility with 5 unique apartments that are located directly above the Sea Bean. We are committed to showing our guests true Alaskan hospitality, whether they are staying with us, stopping by for breakfast, or both...and we need employees who are as adventurous as our guests in order for us to make this happen!
Zip-lining, kayaking, white water rafting, glacier hiking, whale watching, etc. are all available to our employees at either a reduced rate or comped (free). Most companies will comp you at the beginning of the season.
An ideal employee at the Sea Bean is outgoing, works well with others and is a team player, motivated and loves to be outside.
