As the primary concessionaire at the Grand Hotel, and a part of the Xanterra Travel Collection family, we invite you to live, work, and explore in one of the most beautiful places on earth! Our team members are part of a welcoming community who work hard, share a passion for the environment, and enjoy creating memorable experiences for guests. The Grand Hotel is located just one mile from the South Entrance to Grand Canyon National Park, with the scenic South Rim of the Grand Canyon just a short distance away. The hotel is open year-round with a peak season between April and October. Xanterra operates the 121 room hotel, two dining facilities, and a retail shop. Year-round staff consists of approximately 90 employees during peak season. Our employees make countless personal connections and create everlasting memories for themselves and our guests.
Prior experience is not the most important thing and most entry-level positions do not need prior experience. Rather, we are looking for people with outstanding customer service skills and an adventurous spirit.

Each housing option varies across locations, some are new, others historic. The most common option is a dorm with 2-3 roomates. Affordable room costs are payroll deducted.

Our employees have the opportunity to take advantage of a number of different perks we offer in Grand Canyon Park but oftentimes the most valuable perk is the experience itself. You’ll get to live, work and explore in one of the most beautiful places in America.
The meal plan is $9 per day for 3 meals. (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and tickets are also offered for individual meals: breakfast $5.00, lunch $6.00, and dinner $7.00. The Employee Dining Room (EDR) serves cafeteria-style meals that include a hot entrée and side dishes, sandwiches, salads, fruits, cereals and beverages. Your room and board includes three meals a day in the EDR.
