Our install team is about 15 people including 2 supervisors, 3 team leads, and a logistics coordinator. Each day, the teams meet and drive together in company vehicles to the job site, most days the job site is different each day. It is your responsibility to connect with your team lead before 8pm the day you're scheduled to work to set up a meeting point and be there on time. Each team consists of a team of three (team lead and two crew). The team lead will set up the job, the crew members will be lighting up trees, bushes, outlining windows, etc. Once the job is complete, sweep up and head to the next job. We have a handful of jobs where the entire team will work on one install together but mostly, each team is out in the field separately.

Generally, people who have excelled in this position have great balance, are surefooted, and are aware of their bodies - skateboarders, rock climbers, etc. It is the most important that people in these positions are comfortable with heights - houses are built vertically in SF and we need everyone on the team to be comfortable climbing ladders up to 32'. We routinely use 24' and 32' extension ladders, and occasionally even a 40' extension ladder. We also use boom lifts that extend from 40' - 80' but sometimes even up to 125'.
