Sequoia Parks Conservancy (SPC) is the official nonprofit partner of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. SPC’s efforts have been critical in the conservation of wild, beautiful landscapes for the enjoyment and inspiration of generations of visitors.

Our mission is to fund and enable projects and programs that protect, preserve and provide access to the natural and cultural resources of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Whether working in our park stores, giving tours through Crystal Cave, or providing educational programs, our employees are an integral part of our success. Working in the parks during peak season can be busy and challenging but rewarding.
Seasonal employees receive competitive pay, paid sick leave, and discounts on merchandise and/or programs.
Our ideal candidates will be Out-going, Honest, Friendly and Reliable. Having some experience in retail, visitor interaction, or providing educational programs in an outdoor setting. Many of our position require the ability to be on your feet for many hours and in various weather conditions.

Housing is shared and based on availability through the National Park Service (NPS). Employees are responsible for the rent. Seasonal housing is rural and rustic. The Conservancy has 4 large trailers that may also be used as shared housing. In most cases, there are no more than 2 people in an accommodation. Your roommate may be an NPS employee, not a Conservancy employee
The whole of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks is available for hiking and exploring. The gateway town of Three Rivers has many restaurants and bars. The closest city is Visalia, which has all standard shopping and nightlife. Los Angeles, San Francisco, and the central coast are all within a 4- to 5-hour drive.
