Elevate your hospitality career to a new level in the luxury hospitality market and come on a New Zealand adventure
About us Robertson Lodges is one of the top providers of luxury accommodation in New Zealand offering a trio of stunning landscapes. The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs, The Farm at Cape Kidnappers and Matakauri Lodge form a string of luxurious destinations spanning the length of New Zealand, each distinct and authentic to the region they inhabit. The Opportunity New Zealand is a seasonal travel destination, and while we operate the lodges throughout the year we do have a seasonal flow to our business. Our Peak season is November, December, January, February and March (summer). Shoulder seasons April, May, October, November and our Low season falls during the winter months of June, July, August and September. There are employment opportunities throughout the year, however Robertson Lodges carries the highest staffing levels through the Shoulder and Peak seasons. The seasonal roles we primarily recruit for each year are Food & Beverage Service, Chefs, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Front Office and Golf Operations. Each year we bring on our seasonal contract staff with various roles commencing in November ready for the peak summer season. Seasonal contracts will generally conclude at the end of April. There may be opportunity for contract extensions and these will be discussed with employees on an individual basis as they become available, including any opportunities for an employment transfer to one of the sister properties.

IT'S EASY TO COME AND WORK IN NEW ZEALAND! WORKING HOLIDAY VISAS New Zealand has working holiday agreements with many countries, allowing you to work here and explore our great country. Working holiday visas are available to young people, usually aged 18 to 30, but 18 to 35 in a select few countries. They let you travel and work in New Zealand for up to 12 months, or 23 months if you are from the UK or Canada. https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-zealand-visas/preparing-a-visa-application/working-in-nz/how-long-can-you-work-in-new-zealand-for/working-holiday-visa GETTING AROUND The public transport system does not operate to our lodges so for your own convenience and work commitments you will need a driver’s license and a vehicle to get to the Lodge. Employees who need to drive some distance from the main centres to work receive a daily travel allowance as a contribution towards fuel costs. You can drive in New Zealand on most overseas licences for a maximum of 12 months. After 12 months you need to apply for a New Zealand Driver’s Licence. The Automobile Association or “AA” is a great point of contact for driver licensing, car insurance (and other insurance), and vehicle registration. There are AA Service Centres located throughout New Zealand.
