Burgess Outdoor Education & Retreat Center seeks to build conscientious citizens of all ages and backgrounds through meaningful outdoor programs that instill wonder, encourage stewardship and cultivate community. Our seasonal instructors come from across the country to facilitate programs that inspire and community that fosters growth. Applicants should be age 21+, have a real passion for working with youth, a desire to be outdoors, and the ability to live and work in a vibrant community setting!

We provide comfortable staff housing, all meals while you are working, access to the kitchen, laundry facilities, and internet. Cape Cod is a fantastic place to live, and you will have access to a wide range of outdoor recreation equipment to help you enjoy it!

The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about working with youth and has a strong desire to engage with the outdoors in a meaningful way. They should be enthusiastic, responsible, and able to contribute positively to a vibrant, community-oriented environment while fostering growth and stewardship in others.
