Located in coastal Maine, our "co-ed" summer sleep away camp features distinctive programs for children ages 8 to 14. Depending on your interest, HVC is a visual arts camp, a horse camp, an adventure camp, a performing arts camp, a nature camp, a water camp, a sports camp and much more. Or — because you choose your activities — it can be all of these! I can say without hesitation that there is something fantastic happening at your camp! Something I'm not seeing anywhere else. - HVC Parent

Hidden Valley Staff describes the meaningful professional summer experiences they've had during a summer at camp: "This summer has been fun and deliciously paradoxical. I've been brought back to my own childhood and yet this summer's experiences make me feel older, wiser... better equipped for life." "I became better at taking charge of solving problems and looking to myself for answers rather than relying on other people" "I feel like I grew as a teacher and counselor. I think that my skills in counseling grew tremendously as a result of working with young people." "Your compassion and patience with your employees and campers is something I remember every day." "I loved working in such a caring, educational, lively environment for both staff and campers."
Camp Counselor is a live-in position that includes Room & Board. Staff live in spacious cabins with their camper groups and have every other night off away from children. Hidden Valley provides delicious meals three times a day - includes vegetarian options and support for some diet limitations.
