JOB SUMMARY:
Having the right kind of security personnel is critical to our success. The Shore Lodge Whitetail Safety & Security Agent works during a 3rd shift to protect all Company, Member and employee persons and properties against dangers such as fire, theft and trespassers while maintaining the highest possible safety standards. They also hold responsibility for protecting our hotel guests and their property inside the hotel including valuables and cash. Our successful agents patrol inside and outside our multiple properties utilizing various motorized vehicles; motorcycles, company cars, electric carts as well as walking patrols. They are professional, calm and objective in potentially tense and unusual situations and take charge in the event that an emergency should occur. They maintain an activities log, including unusual or problematic situations that arise. They often act as a liaison between our lodge guests, members and employees and company in general when incidents occur. They are great team players who problem-solve in teams as well as individually, thriving with irregular work shifts including day, swing and 3rd shift. Additional consideration will be given to those with previous safety and security work background as well as current CPR-AED and First Aid certification, crisis management and any documented Security Training.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
• Patrol all areas of Shore Lodge and Whitetail with both a driving route as well as walking properties, noting unusual circumstances or safety violations
• Document, report, and forward to Manager, safety hazards and violations of resort/company policy
• Escort suspicious persons of concern off property if warranted and assist in any emergency situations and/or evacuations
• Have knowledge of the local area, hotel, and resort amenities
• Provide memorable customer service to Guests, Members, and fellow employees
• Adhere to Company policies, procedures, and standards
• Possess a thorough understanding of our Safety Management System, Security policies, Operations and Company Policies and Operations
• Execute morning newspaper deliveries around the hotel
• Gather Room Service menus and deliver to kitchen
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Safety and Security Manager or Supervisor
