Job Overview
As a member of the front of house team it is your responsibility to maintain the four core principles of Denali Brewpub: Safety, Quality, Efficiency and Ownership.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience preferred.
- Alaska Food Handler card.
- Alcohol TAPS card.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to think and act creatively, while conforming to existing standard operating procedures and DEC regulations.
- Must be in good physical condition.
- Ability to sit/stand/bend/walk/lift and maintain manual dexterity for duration of work period.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Have a flexible schedule, team player.
Duties will include:
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain appearance, cleanliness and general ambiance in accordance with the culture of Denali Brewpub.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Greet guests and seat them in an orderly fashion in accordance with the seating rotation, considering business volume, staff strength and kitchen readiness.
- Engage guests to promote and maximize retail sales.
- Sell merchandise and to go beverages.
- Maintain a neat and orderly merchandise program.
- Loss prevention.
- Water and tend to plants as needed.
- Assist other FOH staff as needed, including bussing and food running.
- Complete and/or delegate daily side work as outlined in the FOH binder.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
