Visualize yourself on a team of high-energy, upbeat, fun-loving people who love the outdoors and our picturesque properties in northern Wisconsin. You would live at no charge in rustic housing and work in the middle of a pine tree forest. Each day, we work hard to provide our guests with unforgettable experiences.
You will be working with many other guides to help facilitate our guests in their outdoor experience. Safety is the first priority and we will train you to make sure you are comfortable on each trip. Our guests have come to expect a high-quality trip that exceeds their expectations.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for guides that can facilitate guest trips down both the Menominee and Peshtigo Rivers. You will be responsible for setting up trips, guiding guests down the river, and cleaning up after the trip. You will be guiding class II-IV rivers in both individual rafts as well as 8-person rafts. Guiding other trips is also encouraged. Other trips include zip lines, paintball, rock climbing, lake kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding.
Qualifications:
Specific Skills: Exceptional personal communication skills. First aid and CPR training is required. Experience in outdoor adventure activities and First responder/EMT certifications a plus. No experience necessary. On the job training (related to each activity) is available for all of the outdoor adventures we offer. Some heavy lifting is required.
Must be at least 18 years old
