The Retail Inventory Receiver is responsible for receiving, processing, and preparing all merchandise prior to store distribution.
Retail Inventory Receiver Duties & Responsibilities:
Receive daily shipments from vendors by inspecting the product, inputting product information into the inventory management system, tagging each item, and preparing for the merchandise to be delivered to the stores
Communicate with vendors to obtain and process invoices, credit memos, and return authorizations
Provide communication between Accounts Payable and retail vendors
Assist in the facilitation of semi-annual inventory counts for each store
Retail Inventory Receiver Qualifications:
Applicant must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to work well with immediate and cross-functional teams
Applicant must be able to maintain the organization of files and merchandise
Must be able to prioritize tasks and projects to ensure deadlines are met
Ability to follow and complete specific processes correctly to fulfill duties and responsibilities.
Applicant must consistently arrive to work on time and ensure coverage when absent
Must have the ability to lift and moves boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more
