Seasons For Hire
The Sun Valley LIFT OPERATOR is responsible for the safe loading and unloading of guests of all ages and abilities that are using our chairlifts. As a member of the lift department team, the lift operator will provide exceptional service for our guests during their visit.
Lift Operator Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Follow company/department safety policies and procedures.
-Able to work independently or in a small group to accomplish daily job-related tasks.
-Completes pre-operational procedures and inspections.
-Assist in snow removal, daily set up, and routine maintenance of work areas.
-Anticipate guest’s needs and provide service above and beyond guest expectations.
-Remain alert for guests improperly loading and unloading the ski lifts.
-Assist with completing lift closing procedures.
-Work with all-mountain departments respectfully in assisting and resolving issues that could arise during the operations.
Lift Operator Qualifications:
-18 years or older, high school diploma or equivalent
-Able to read, write, speak and understand English
-Able to lift up to 50 pounds, Able to work outside in all weather conditions
-Skiing/Snowboarding is a plus but not required
-Completion of Sun Valley lift department/lift operator training
-Have the ability to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings (6:00 a.m.)
-Able to work through the entire winter season
