We operate and maintain seven retail outlets at the Grand Canyon South Rim. By working at Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona, you will be able to provide top-notch hospitality and welcome guests into gift shops representing the sheer beauty, peace, and scenic grandeur of where you work.
We are looking for a Lead Retail Associate to assist the Store Manager and Supervisor in the operation of the retail store!
Carry out the assignments given by the store manager and/or assistant managers and see that sales associates carry out assigned duties.
Assist store management in the training of new sales associates and keep store management informed of training progress.
Help with processing store paperwork and receiving product as directed.
Assist with opening and closing duties as directed, including assisting sales associates with deposits and drops.
Maintain security at all times in the store.
As directed ensure housekeeping is being attended to in the store, as well as stocking, folding and display maintenance.
Emphasize customer service at all times to sales associates.
Assist customers in a courteous and knowledgeable manner.
Be aware of product locations, sizes, prices and other information.
Operate POS system maintaining accurate entries, charges, change, and deposits.
Responsible for issued bank including change orders and security of the bank.
Assist other store sales clerks as directed.
Adhere to all safety, risk management, and sustainability policies while performing tasks.
Provide exceptional guest service through professional and friendly interactions with guests, co-workers, vendors and other partners.
Previous retail experience.
Ability to abide by established checklist system.
Ability to carry out assignments on time and as directed.
Must be outgoing, possess strong communication skills, and be dedicated to providing excellence in customer service.
