Housing Assistant

Job Description

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring for full-time Housing Assistants to join our team at Squire Resort at Grand Canyon in Tusayan, Arizona. As a Housing Assistant, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the housing facilities in line with company regulations at the property. You will ensure that guests receive the highest quality of service throughout their visit at Squire Resort at Grand Canyon.

Minimum pay rate: $13.85 / hour

Responsibilities
Respond to guest requests and needs; take the appropriate action in a timely manner.
Coordinate and distribute the linen and room supplies at the property.
Clean restrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, and other communal areas.
Inspect the facilities and grounds at the property; ensure all areas are clean and sanitized.
Ensure compliance with Employee Housing Guidelines.
Support the associate transportation shuffle service when required.
All other duties assigned.

Qualifications
Valid driver's license to transport associates, when required.
Previous housing, cleaning, or relevant experience preferred.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Ability to problem solve and operate in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Constant sitting, lifting, bending, climbing stairs, and repetitive motions.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Exposed to outdoors and variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on the season.
Exposed to fumes from delivery trucks and other equipment.
