Overall Responsibilities
This position is a lead role with Zion Guide Hub focusing on our guides, resources/equipment, and guided tour offerings and shuttles. It is a full-time, hourly position working out of our Springdale location.

This role will involve sales of guided offerings, sales-training of shop staff, coordination of the guide team, oversight of the equipment inventory and Zion Guide Hub budget.

Key Areas of Responsibilities
Oversight of all guide-specific inventory, ie; equipment and vehicles
Oversight of guides and drivers: training, schedule, work production, meetings and payroll (training is a shared responsibility with the Guide Trainer)
Oversight of guide calendar, tour reservations and shuttle schedule - priority being the scheduling process of guides, drivers and vehicles
Coordination of tour reservation details; additional rentals, amenities and lunches
Upholding of permit restrictions and operating use areas
Coordination of vehicle maintenance schedule and fulfillment
Oversight of guide, employee and customer flow in parking area
Oversight of training of any shop employees on how to create a tour or bike reservation, shuttle, and the sale/booking of a guided experience (this will be a shared responsibility with the Operations Manager and General Manager until fully confident in the systems)
Become the expert/specialist with The Flybook (our Reservations and Scheduling system)
Ability to provide support for all guides as their lead representative
Participation in shop as a leader; champion of company values, maintaining productivity in staff, fostering a general attitude of motivation, positivity, and high-level customer service
Ability to work the floor and bring customers through a rental experience
Oversight of adventure-themed product inventory
Oversight of financials for the guide and shuttles departments
Oversight of guide morale and encouraging continued individual and professional growth
Keep the shop, property and shared equipment organized and in clean working order

3+ years of providing top-notch customer service
1+ year of product sales experience
1+ year of management experience
A friendly and welcoming personality
A self-starter that consistently delivers an outstanding, personalized retail experience
Meticulous attention to details, organization and a strong communicator
Eagerness to learn and be a part of the outdoor community
Proficiency with computers, POS system(s) and CRM

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20/hour annual contract with the opportunity for a salaried position
