Camp Nurse

Job Description

Camp Nurse: RN, LPN, PA, EMT, CNA

This position is responsible for all care and supervision of the medical center & nursing functions in our camp community. Includes but is not limited to triage, medication, administration, and caring for ill and injured campers and staff.

Qualifications:
-Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail
-Ability to get along well with people and be a team player
-Ability to work with limited supervision & flexibility
-Willingness to work independently and with other staff
-Nursing or PA license in Massachusetts (we'll help facilitate)

Responsibilities:
-Triage and care for all ill or injured campers and staff
-Daily medication administration
-Immediate response to emergency situations
-Keeping clear records of med admin and camper/staff treatments
-Assist with ordering and inventorying cleaning and other supplies.
-Launder health center and camp linens when necessary
-Daytime duty and nighttime duty required

Willingness to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours is a must
