We are looking for motivated Team players to join our Glamping program! The role of the Camp Manager is to maintain their assigned Camp and oversee the Butler staff working in the camp. Perform daily inventory of supplies, cleanliness of dining Pavilion, receive orders, and assist our culinary team in the execution of daily breakfast and dinner service. The Camp Manager will also ensure our guests’ activities for the day, their dinner plans, and reservations. Applicants should be responsible, energetic, have an attention to detail, and above all a positive attitude. Our Camp Managers will not only work with our core Glamping team, but many other departments throughout The Resort. Qualified candidates will have previous food and beverage/serving experience, and or customer service experience. We encourage anyone with ambition to forward their career in the hospitality field to apply regardless of specific work experience.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Meticulously maintain the operation of individual camp.
Manage a butler team to operate a glamping camp to the Paws Up standard.
Understand and uphold Forbes standards.
Anticipate guest needs.
Manage communication of guest issues, needs and concerns within all departments.
Provide a transcendent guest experience.
Serve guests in dining room style setting, exhibiting understanding of safe food handling procedures.
Enjoy the challenge of effectively managing multiple tasks without sacrificing quality or cost controls.
Maintain regular, predictable schedule.
Exhibit an understanding of the importance of safe food handling procedures, as well as safety procedures in the kitchen.
Always ensure quality.
Search for opportunities and achieve better results next time to continue and improve our/your standards.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
Complete other tasks as assigned by Glamping Management team.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related coursework
Basic kitchen safety and cleaning knowledge
Ability to operate dishwashing machine
Knowledge of luxury hospitality and service
Valid Food Handler’s license
Valid Alcohol Serve Safe certificate
Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet company driving policy
