Seasons For Hire
We have two types of positions, professional jobs, and internships.
Internships. 90% of our employees start as interns. We invest heavily in training in these positions and aim to offer a wide range of Alaskan experiences.
Professional jobs are experienced guides and support people who have most often grown with us. Due to our low turnover, professional positions have few openings each season. Before applying for a professional position, make sure that you meet the requirements listed on our website.
We operate in the short but intense Alaskan summer with endless daylight for about 3 months. Internships start on June 1, plus or minus a day or two. Sorry, but no exceptions to this start date. Professional jobs start in mid-May. All applicants must be able to work until at least mid-August and most will stay until mid-September.
Apprentice Guides have the opportunity to develop skills and learn how to use these skills to help others enjoy the outdoors. The position is geared towards aspiring guides and outdoor educators.
"AGs" guide glacier treks, assist in ice climbing instruction, operate the zipline, assist with trip preparation and logistics, and help operate our guest camps at our Base and on the Glacier. This is an internship position and we invest a lot of time and effort in training. A stipend, reimbursement of airfare, gear allowance and end of season bonus is provided.
